Welcome to Troop 44's web site designed to make communication faster and easier for our families. Monthly newsletters, calendars and permission slips are all published here along with a lot of other useful information. Weekly meeting plans are sent to every Scout via email and also posted here.
Troop 44 has been chartered to St. Paul Presbyterian Church for 43 years and we meet weekly on Thursdays, 7:00 - 8:30 PM at the church. We currently have between 40 and 50 registered Scouts and about the same number of adults participating as leaders or committee members.

There is no troop meeting due to the Homecoming Parade. See you next Thursday.

REMINDERS:
September 29 is the due date for permission slips and fees for the Dolliver outing.

Ashton's Eagle Service Project

The next work day will be October 2, Noon - 4:30 PM at Jester Park Stables and the plan is to dig the post holes, pour cement and get the posts upright as described in my brochure.

United Way Campaigns begin for 2016

Fall brings a new United Way campaign to many companies around Iowa. Employees are encouraged to give their dollars through the campaign, which supports charitable organizations in our communities.

Patrol Leaders' Council

The September Patrol Leaders' Council meeting has been rescheduled for September 19, 7:00 PM at St Paul.
The September 15 meeting will be planned by Ashton and Michael on Thursday night. (O/C Nachos, packing for Ahquabi)

All forms have been updated to 2016 sale criteria in Files - Greenery 2016. Print off as many forms as you need.
You are encouraged to leave door hangers at customer's homes with your phone number and name for contact.

August 28, Court of Honor

Thanks to all the families who came out to Sandpiper in hot, humid weather to enjoy a great BBQ and celebration of accomplishments.
Special thanks to Warren, Mack, Luke and Tim for cooking the burgers and brats and to Leslea for the set-up. Great job!
