Welcome !

Welcome to Troop 44's web site designed to make communication faster and easier for our families. Monthly newsletters, calendars and permission slips are all published here along with a lot of other useful information. Weekly meeting plans are sent to every Scout via email and also posted here.
Troop 44 has been chartered to St. Paul Presbyterian Church for 40 years and we meet weekly on Thursdays, 7:00 - 8:30 PM at the church. We currently have between 50 and 60 registered Scouts and about the same number of adults participating as leaders or committee members.
The site is protected for the benefit of our Scouts. Please use the 'contact us' function if you need more information.

on their election into the Order of the Arrow. Considered candidates for Ordeal at this time, they will receive paperwork from the Mitigwa Lodge, probably in late July/early August, about the opportunity to complete their Ordeal at Fall Fellowship on August 21-23. Attendance is mandatory August 21 – late in the evening of August 22; the second overnight is optional, especially since we have a Court of Honor on the 23rd. There is a second and final opportunity next May if you cannot make this event.

For 2016 scholarships, the application must be completed by December 31, 2015. Competition for the awards is pretty stiff, only 200 are awarded nation-wide. Awards vary from $1,00 to $50,000.
