Welcome !

Welcome to Troop 44's web site designed to make communication faster and easier for our families. Monthly newsletters, calendars and permission slips are all published here along with a lot of other useful information. Weekly meeting plans are sent to every Scout via email and also posted here.
Troop 44 has been chartered to St. Paul Presbyterian Church for 43 years and we meet weekly on Thursdays, 7:00 - 8:30 PM at the church. We currently have between 40 and 50 registered Scouts and about the same number of adults participating as leaders or committee members.
The site is protected for the benefit of our Scouts. Please use the 'contact us' function if you need more information.

Congratulations!

July 30 - The Kwahadi did a fabulous show

Posted on Jul 31 2016 - 12:18pm

For a show that was supposed to last 45 minutes, we were treated to close to an hour and a half of colorful dancing, singing, drumming and a very melodic flute-player, a very young Scout. Some of the photos are now posted on this site but there are also some great videos that we will try to share too.

THANK YOU!

First of all, a really big THANK YOU to Frank B. now 18, and ready to move to Iowa City, who cleaned out his closet to donate Scout pants, shorts, shirts, belts and socks to the closet. While mostly on the smaller side, there are a variety of all the aforementioned if anyone is in need? The five pairs of boots he donated went home with Scouts last evening.
