Welcome !

Welcome to Troop 44's web site designed to make communication faster and easier for our families. Monthly newsletters, calendars and permission slips are all published here along with a lot of other useful information. Weekly meeting plans are sent to every Scout via email and also posted here.
Troop 44 has been chartered to St. Paul Presbyterian Church since 1972 and we meet weekly on Thursdays, 7:00 - 8:30 PM at the church. We currently have between 20 and 30 registered Scouts and about the same number of adults participating as leaders or committee members.
The site is protected for the benefit of our Scouts. Please use the 'contact us' function if you need more information.

Thank you for those Scouts who helped with the flag placement July 1

Posted on Jul 17 2021 - 8:24am

Our Johnston American Legion Post 728 wishes to express our deepest appreciation for the participation of Post members, local Boy Scouts, and children for participating in placing flags on Veterans graves in honor of the Independence Day July 4 holiday. It is very encouraging to observe the participation in this important ceremony by the younger generation in order to gain an appreciation of just how important the sacrifices are that Veterans have made in defending the freedoms that Americans enjoy. We are eagerly looking forward to regular participation of Brownies and Girl Scouts and am asking for anyone help to extend our invitation to participate.
