Welcome !

Welcome to Troop 44's web site designed to make communication faster and easier for our families. Monthly newsletters, calendars and permission slips are all published here along with a lot of other useful information. Weekly meeting plans are sent to every Scout via email and also posted here.
Troop 44 has been chartered to St. Paul Presbyterian Church for 43 years and we meet weekly on Thursdays, 7:00 - 8:30 PM at the church. We currently have between 40 and 50 registered Scouts and about the same number of adults participating as leaders or committee members.
The site is protected for the benefit of our Scouts. Please use the 'contact us' function if you need more information.

End of Year Donations

Posted on Nov 28 2018 - 11:07pm

For those of you looking to make a donation by the end of this calendar year for tax purposes, please remember the Johnston Troop 44 and Pack 244 Friends of Scouting. This group financially supports the pack and the troop and all the Scouts who attended camp or NYLT this past summer were recipients of scholarships to help defray costs. We will always have young men who require help with fees for weekend outings and dues and this organization helps those boys in need participate. All monies collected stay in our community with these two units.

Thanks to Shawn and Matthew M. and Marcus D. for their invaluable help in distributing the greenery. Hopefully, delivery will go as smoothly for you.

If you purchase from Amazon, you can give to the Johnston Troop 44 and Pack 244 Friends of Scouting through Amazon Smiles.
This is a small way to contribute to the well being of both units financially, which help every family attending summer camp or leadership training.
