Welcome !

Welcome to Troop 44's web site designed to make communication faster and easier for our families. Monthly newsletters, calendars and permission slips are all published here along with a lot of other useful information. Weekly meeting plans are sent to every Scout via email and also posted here.
Troop 44 has been chartered to St. Paul Presbyterian Church for 43 years and we meet weekly on Thursdays, 7:00 - 8:30 PM at the church. We currently have between 40 and 50 registered Scouts and about the same number of adults participating as leaders or committee members.
The site is protected for the benefit of our Scouts. Please use the 'contact us' function if you need more information.

Flag Day and your boys did us proud

Posted on Jun 14 2018 - 11:33am

We missed doing news yesterday, we were super busy having fun. It was a beautiful day and no rain as you had. Classes are going well, some are done already and those boys are now working on the cardboard kayak we will be racing on Saturday.

Day 3 Where did the time go?

Posted on Jun 12 2018 - 4:40pm

It was hot at Worlds of Fun, 96 degrees and humid too. Not a problem to have plenty of fun taking the water rides. A couple had queasy stomachs after flipping upside down several times or going up or down fast. Food is expensive, twice what we would have paid locally, but we knew that going into it.
